Cottage Grove Lacrosse along with many other programs in the area play under the umbrella of Minnesota Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association MSLAX. Teams will be traveling to compete against other teams in the metro; transportation is the participant’s responsibility. Required equipment: lacrosse stick, goggles, mouth guard, and cleats. Undershirt, tank top, or sports bra also recommended. Each player is responsible for their own equipment.
*6U is for ages 4-6 and is an in house coed development program
8U and older Fees include officials, coaches, uniform (jersey, shorts/skirts), clinics, practices, scrimmages, summer league, and tournaments. If there are multiple teams per age level, rosters will be set before season starts.
In addition to the registration fee, each player must be a current US Lacrosse member (this will be required during registration). The cost of a new/renewal membership is $30. If an existing member, you can look up your number/renew on the US Lacrosse Website.
Each family is also required to volunteer 4 hours (buyout available) and participate in a fundraiser. This helps keeps the price reasonable and enables us to do fun activities for the kids.
**Dates will be updated as additional information is available.

BAILEY AASEN
Bailey has played Lacrosse since 7th grade at Park High School, and thru college at Augustana College. She primarily played ATTACK, but in college she played quite a bit of MIDFIELD too.
Bailey loves Lacrosse because of the friends it has given her, the role models she has found through it, and the feeling of a fast-break down the field. Lacrosse has 100% shaped Bailey into who she is today. Bailey's favorite color is green, and favorite candy is Reeses or Snickers.
RACHEL KENNEDY
Rachel played Girl's Lacrosse when she lived in California, and unfortunately was not able to continue playing when she moved to North Dakota at the age of 13 (there was no Girl's Lacrosse offered in her area) so she tried to play on a Boy's Lacrosse team, and she clearly was not a boy so that didn't last very long. Rachel hasn't played in a minute, but that doesn't mean she can't still sink them like she used to!
Rachel likes Lacrosse because when she was fortunate enough to play, she played with her best friends. She grew and progressed quickly, and she really found herself in the sport. Lacrosse has always had a special place in her heart. Rachel is honored and excited to be able to help this new generation cultivate those same skills and passion for the sport she loves so dearly. Rachel played MIDFIELD and even stepped into the GOALIE position from time to time.
Rachel's favorite color is Lilac, but her favorite color to wear is Forest Green, and her favorite candy is Reeses Peanut Butter cups/pieces.
BRANDON CONWAY
Brandon played Lacrosse back in High School in 2002 and 2003 at St. Cloud Tech. He played on the 2nd and 3rd teams St Cloud Tech. ever had. The position Brandon played was MIDFIELD.
Brandon likes Lacrosse because it is a lot like hockey on grass, and he is a hockey player so that appealed right away. He still thinks Box Lacrosse is played all wrong. Get the turf out of there and just skate on the ice, now were talking! Brandon's favorite color is Blue (We are...Penn State!), and his favorite candy is the Kit Kat.
PAUL MC MORROW
This will be Paul's 5th year coaching High School Girl's Lacrosse, and his 3rd year coaching in the Cottage Grove Youth Lacrosse association.
Five years ago, Paul was introduced to the game of Lacrosse. He feels like it is a Great team sport that is part speed, part ability, mixed in with a ton of HARD WORK and GRIT.
Paul's favorite color is Blue, but he also bleeds green, white and black which make up the WOLFPACK! His favorite candy is a mix of Dark Chocolate and Peanut Butter.
SYDNEY MAHLKE
Sydney has played Lacrosse for 10 years. In High School, she played for Appleton United (in Appleton, Wisconsin). She also played Division III at the University of Northwestern-St Paul. The position she plays is GOALIE.
Sydney likes Lacrosse because it is a fast-paced game that anyone could join and play. The sport quickly feels like a family to all involved. Sydney's favorite color is Teal, and her favorite candy is Heath.
MORGAN RICE
Morgan has played Lacrosse for 6 years. She played for Park High School, and now plays for the University of Minnesota. Morgan plays both MIDFIELD and ATTACK.
Morgan likes Lacrosse because it is truly a team sport, and she has always had Awesome experiences with her coaches and teammates. Morgan's favorite color is Blue, and her favorite candy is Skittles.
MACKENZIE LAWRENCE
Mackenzie has played Lacrosse for a little over 6 years. She played for Woodbury Youth Lacrosse and Park High School. She also played for Lacrosse Monkey a club team. The position she played was ATTACK.
Mackenzie's favorite color is all shades of purple, and her favorite candy is Twix.
