The Viking Goat Tournament will host boys and girls youth association teams at the U14, U12, and U10 level this summer in Farmington, Minnesota. Come experience all that the land of 10,000 lakes has to offer in the summer, check out the Twin Cities, and play some great lacrosse.
Game Times: Saturday: 8AM-8PM & Sunday: 8AM-3PM
Schedule: Released Wednesday, June 2nd at 5PM CST. Schedule will be subject to change.
Format: Four game guarantee. Three pool play games with minimum one bracket play game. All pool play games will be completed on Saturday. This may be adjusted due to COVID-19. We will adjust when proper guidelines are made available.
Location: Levi Dodge Middle School and Farmington High School
Waivers: All players must fill the form out in order to compete in the event, NO exceptions! Waivers are due Friday morning, June 4th. If you have any questions, please reach out. (Link)
COVID Protocols: More information will be sent as the event nears. All attendees will be required to have a mask on site and wear it when social distancing is not applicable. As of now, masks are not required for athletes, refs, and coaches during games. This is subject to change based on the local and CDC guidelines.
Rules: Will be released closer to the tournament. They will be following the YLM and MSLAX rules very similarly.
Parking Charge (Helping a Family In Need): For this year's Viking Goat, there will be a parking charge of $10 per car for the weekend. 100% of proceeds will go to the Pollock Family. More information and how to help (link). Parking will ONLY be accepted via cash. Please make sure to have $10. You will receive a parking tag that will hang from your windshield for the event. We will have cash on site to give cash back.
We will be using Tourney Machine throughout the tournament. Go to www.tourneymachine.com and search Viking Goat under the "tournaments" tab. You will be able to follow your team(s) and see scores and standings updated as the tournament goes on.
US Lax Events will NOT be providing water due to COVID-19. Please have your families provide water for themselves.
