We hope that everyone is staying healthy and safe this holiday season.
We wanted to share a reminder with our players and their families regarding the upcoming change in the Standards for Goalkeepers Chest Protection.
All Goalkeeper Chest Protection worn on our after January 1, 2021 must be designed for Lacrosse and must meet the NOCSAE ND200 standards.
YLM also wants to make sure that we know that improperly equipped goalkeepers will be ineligible to play unless their chest protection meets the new standards as outlined. For additional information please visit:

Our association has purchased goalkeeper chest protection that meets or exceeds the NOCSAE ND200 standard.
**Please also note that there is a similar standard change that will take affect January 1, 2022 for player Shoulder Pads.**

Officer Positions
Officers make up the executive board of CGAA Lacrosse, are expected to attend all CGAA Lacrosse Monthly Board Meetings and are voting members of the board.

Director Positions
All Director Level Positions are appointed by majority vote of the officers. There is no need to be at the annual meeting if applying for a Director Level Position. All director level positions are expected to attend monthly CGAA Lacrosse Board member meetings and are voting members.

Positions listed below serve the purpose of informing the board and connecting them to the larger lacrosse community. These are non-voting positions and will be solicited by the board closer to the start of the 2021 season.
Save the date and tell your friends about the following Try Lacrosse for Free Nights in March conveniently located at the Cottage Grove Armory. Registration form available soon!
Boys - Thursday March 11th and Sunday March 14th from 6 to 8PM
Girls- Tuesday March 16th and Sunday March 21st from 6 to 8PM
There is no cost to attend and equipment is provided!
We are still a ways out from opening registration, but we've booked indoor practice dates on the turf at the Cottage Grove Ice Arena. At this time boys and girls will split the turf.
Mondays* and Thursdays starting April 5th through April 29th from 5 to 6PM
*The Monday April 26th Practice has been moved to Tuesday April 27th.
We are currently seeking youth lacrosse coaches for each level. Our aim is to have head coach, assistant coach, and parent volunteer coach for each team. This is a great way support youth lacrosse in Cottage Grove. Stipends are available for head and assistant coaches and training is available.
